Aruba is gearing up for the highly anticipated Aruba Investment Summit 2024 (AIS2024), set to take place in The Hague on March 21, 2024. We are thrilled to announce the lineup of speakers and the engaging program designed to showcase Aruba as a premier investment destination in the Caribbean.

Hosted by Joselin Croes, Director at the Office of the Minister Plenipotentiary of Aruba in The Hague, the summit will feature distinguished guests including His Excellencies, the Minister of Economic Affairs, Communication, and Sustainable Development, Mr. Geoffrey Wever, the Plenipotentiary Minister of Aruba in the Netherlands, Mr. Juan E. Thijsen, and the Minister of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy of the Netherlands, Mrs. Micky Adriaansens.

Other notable speakers include Mr. Jacco Vonhof, Chairman of MKB-Nederland, Mr. Vincent Storimans, Deputy Representative of the Netherlands in Aruba, and Mr. Diederik Kemmerling, President of the Chamber of Commerce Aruba. Keynote speaker Mr. Chris Knight, Managing Director at fDi Intelligence, will inspire attendees with his insights on ‘Impact Investing in the Caribbean Region’, setting the tone for discussions on sustainable investment practices.
Vision for Sustainability
Minister Geoffrey Wever will outline his vision and action plan for steering Aruba towards a sustainable future, followed by Mr. Bryan Lenzinger, Investor Relations Advisor of the Aruba Investment Agency (ARINA), who will provide invaluable insights into Aruba’s investment climate and opportunities.
Engagement and Networking
The summit will conclude with two engaging breakout sessions focusing on key sectors for investment: the Transformation of Oranjestad and San Nicolas, and Agri-Business, Energy, and Waste Management. Attendees will have the opportunity to interact directly with government officials and business stakeholders to explore specific queries about doing business in Aruba within these sectors.
