The OSTAD 200 Incubator’s business development program was successfully concluded last Saturday, marking an important milestone for Aruban startups and scale-ups. Through this program, new and growing businesses have been guided in establishing a solid foundation and creating actionable market entry plans. The event ended with a pitch contest, allowing each participant to showcase their ideas and compete for prizes that will support their growth.

Designed to address challenges in Aruba’s market, the OSTAD 200 Incubator evaluates business concepts to ensure they offer viable, impactful solutions. With the support of Impact Hub and partners like Setar N.V., WEB Aruba N.V., and Aruba Tourism Authority, the program has strengthened Aruba’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.

This year’s event highlighted outstanding participants, such as Denzo Design as “Most Innovative” and Laycro N.V. as “Most Aspiring.” EdenEmbrace, led by Elise Maduro-Ras, received the top startup award, while Logopedie Oduber, led by Celina Oduber, was celebrated as the top scale-up and audience favorite. These achievements emphasize Aruba’s support for innovation and the importance of public-private collaboration in driving economic growth.
